T-shirt shipping costs

I just went to the store to purchase a T-shirt (now that I'm finally sure I *am* going to finish), and I'm a little frustrated that there's no option for cheaper shipping. I know it's not extreme, but having to pay $7.40 in shipping and handling for a T-shirt seems a bit high. Is there any way to offer other shipping options instead of just priority mail? I order T-shirts all the time, and the average shipping cost is $2.50. I don't buy a lot of things for myself, and I keep a pretty strict budget. For underpaid writers like me, that $5 has a lot of other places it could go instead of toward getting my T-shirt a day or two faster.
